The Latin American and Caribbean Investment Network (LACin) it's a network of mutual support and professional training with sustainable regional developers from all over the Americas. Our work is to expand the leadership, training and technical content on sustainable development and investments. ​​
Our story:
LACin was created in November 2022 during the Americas Competitiviness Exchange (ACE) from the Organization of the American States (OAS) in Quito, Ecuador in 2022, when 12 professionals met to exchange knowledge about their professional fields. LACin was conceptualized by professionals working in regional development initiatives and institutions across Latin American and Caribbean. The Network seeks engagement from other economic development professionals who are willing to formalize alliances and organize the cooperation between themselves and/or their agencies.
In May 2023, we drew up our statutes - which set out our mission for sustainable regional development, held elections and defined an executive management committee. Since then, the group has developed a strategic plan, decided to focus on leadership and professional development and has held more than 100 virtual meetings, and participated in more than a dozen business events and congresses.
Today we are made up of 49 members from 28 LAC countries. We are all regional developers, some of whom work for governments, investment attraction agencies, consultancies, banks and investment funds.

Our work is divided into 6 secretariats which simultaneously develop 5 recurring and periodic initiatives. All our members' work to build the network is 100% voluntary.
Our field of action at the moment is training and professional development for employees of investment attraction agencies, chambers of commerce, investment funds and local public development agencies, but also for self-employed consultants, innovation agents and/or any regional developer.
Mission:
LAC Investment Network, is a non-profit organization. The mission is to promote the economic and social development and integration of the Latin American and Caribbean countries. The LAC Investment Network has the following objectives:
I - To promote the economic and social integration of Latin America and the Caribbean through connections between regional development agents and through the promotion of investments in projects of and between Network members;
II -To stimulate cooperation among regional development agents, members of the Network, from different Latin American and Caribbean countries and for the development of investment projects;
III - Promote training for Network members on topics related to investment attraction and regional development.
IV - To promote the exchange of information and experiences among Network members;
V - Encourage partnerships among Network members to carry out investment projects;​
